Foundations
Every engagement starts with the Foundations. You must either hire us to produce these with you or lay these cornerstones on your own.
- Adrian will lead 2-3 team members through an exercise to produce the key messaging and positioning that we’ll bring throughout all content. We use frameworks like Start With Why and Jobs to Be Done to identify the most resonant themes in emotional and psychological terms.
- The outcome is a document that clearly articulates 3-5 themes in concise language that can be copied-and-pasted or lightly edited for use throughout marketing materials.
- If you serve different customer profiles, we’ll break out the key messages for each segment and identify some that apply to all segments.
- This source of truth for messaging ensures that all content we produce hits the most important core themes (as opposed to only being optimized for SEO or focusing on secondary value propositions).
Price: $1,500 (up to 3 distinct customer segments; add $500 per segment after 3)
- We’ll build you a comprehensive keyword list and then map every term to an existing page or a potential future page. We do this by pulling apart the distinct concepts in the keyword list. Our goal is to cover 80% or more of the top 500 terms in your industry. And we’ll map each one of these to one of up to 12 different page concepts. You end up with a mutually exclusive target keyword list for each page – a building block of your content strategy.
- Deliverable: A Google Sheet showing the target page for each keyword. And a sheet showing a roll-up of total traffic opportunity per page. Creates the foundation for a content roadmap for months to come.
- Requires a subscription to our Content Intelligence Dashboard or a one-time Traffic Opportunity Report (either of which provides the Master Keyword List we use to create the Keyword-Page Map).
